Blue Ridge Christian Academy is a private college preparatory school in Greenville County, South Carolina. The school has classes for students ranging from Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten to High School level.
The academy was founded by Jill and E.J. Bird in 2004, and is governed by a board of directors. As of 2009[update], it is in the process of applying for accreditation by Association of Christian Schools International.
High School students are required to complete 20 hours of service each year as part of their curriculum.
Blue Ridge Christian students participate in academic competitions through the Association of Christian Schools International, that include spelling bees, math competitions, creative writing festivals, arts festivals, and speech meets.
Student groups and activities include a band, Beta Club, Buddy Program, National Honor Society, Warrior Spirit club, and yearbook.
